So first there was the Anti-Troll club now I think we should create a "Good Faeries" club where people give postive ratings to those who have been severely trolled. What do you think? We could give it a more gender-neutral name if you like. ;)

I take offense to being called a fairy. I'm not light in the loafers nor would I want to even have such a name. Since trolls & fairies are mythological creatures, then we need to stay in the same category. It sounds lame but the best term I can come up with is Elves. At least it isn't gender specific. I'll be the Legolas shooting a series of positive points to someone who's been decimated by troll activity.

I don't think we need a club. Just be aware of when the negative ratings start happening and randomly give points to help those being affected by the trolls. I know that its hard, but we really do have to try and let the trolls get out their frustrations and get on with our lives. There will be bullies wherever you go in life including here on AB. And everyone knows the best way to beat a bully is by ignoring them.

This is called posi-trolling, and I am proud to say I was doing it before it had a name. I don't think we need a club that obligates us to it, just the knowledge that we can and should help out our fellow baggers from time to time...

I do that already. Sometimes not just to people who are being trolled. I just give points to everyone sometimes.

OMG, so the trolls here could be as vicious as those found in Yahoo Answers? But that's precisely the reason why I left Yahoo Answers! Personally, I have promised to myself that I would never ever give negative ratings to anyone. It's still 100%, and it will remain at that level till the end. =)
