Help answer this question below.
because satin makes very fine clothing.
Not Only is satanism not about worshiping the devil, SATINISM is not about worshipping Satin.
Us satinists enjoy the feeling of silk in every walk of life and worship the creatures that create the majestic material. We just use satin for shock value and so ignorant close minded cotton wearers wont want to join our silky religion

I'm getting tired of typing the same thing repeatedly. Could you please go to the Satan section and read what has already been asked and answered before asking redundant questions?

Because Satine is a very funny and interesting AB member.
Most people are Satanists. True Satanists don't worship the devil, they worship themselves... it's more technically called 'secular humanist' which is to serve oneself rather than to serve others. And personally I think that is the general attitude of the populace of the world.
Because satin is their favorite fabric presumably.
Cause silk is expensive...
Probably for the same reason anyone would want to join any religion. It's something that fits their beliefs and makes them enjoy their life.
Depends on the form of Satanism you are talking about. Most people hear about the Satanists that only want to go out and be evil and dark and perform dark rituals, usually for the shock value like others have said before. The Church of Satan on the other hand has a different view. The COS follows the belief that Satan was not an evil being that wants to steal our souls, but rather an angel that disagreed with the way God treated humans. He felt that God was a tyrant that was keeping the truths of life away from mankind. In the story of Adam and Eve, he told Eve to eat from the fruit not because he was evil, but because Satan felt humans deserved the knowledge. The main school of thought of most COS followers is that we deserve to have what we want as long as we do not hurt others or take from them. If you want sex, have it, just don't rape. If you want money, go make and store as much as you want, just don't steal any, and so on. This belief structure follows a strict do what makes you feel good policy that draws a lot of people who feel that religion is meant to only control people into not living life to the fullest. This is just a watered down version of the religion but you get the point.
because they are so lost and hopeless they are looking for anything to fill up how empty they feel.
because the basic principles make sense. i would never do any of the rituals though. i dont believe in that.
Because satan makes my bum tingle ; )
Hate that has built up over the years - Now they wanna let everyone know just how far to hell they can go
lawlz....sorry...

As I see it, it's more fun and less psychotic than becoming a Christianist
Because they like making satin...Seriously people become SatAnists for various reasons, mostly having to do with a deep abiding hatred of the Christian church and philosophy, or in general a desire to shock believers in Christianity. Others wish to be identified with evil and darkness or simply prefer Lucifer to the tyrannical bully Jehova. By the way, I am not a Satanist.
