  • I don't think I'm spelling it right but silent lusidity. My ex husband could play the song and know the words and would sing it all the time and played it all the time. That song just makes my skin crawl now.
  • No, but I hate that song, Jesse's Girl. What a snake: Jessie is a friend, yeah, I know he's been a good friend of mine But lately something's changed that ain't hard to define Jessie's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine And she's watching him with those eyes And she's lovin' him with that body, I just know it Yeah 'n' he's holding her in his arms late, late at night You know, I wish that I had Jessie's girl, I wish that I had Jessie's girl Where can I find a woman like that I play along with the charade, there doesn't seem to be a reason to change You know, I feel so dirty when they start talking cute I wanna tell her that I love her, but the point is probably moot 'Cos she's watching him with those eyes And she's lovin' him with that body, I just know it And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night Like Jessie's girl, I wish that I had Jessie's girl Where can I find a woman, where can I find a woman like that And I'm lookin' in the mirror all the time, wondering what she don't see in me I've been funny, I've been cool with the lines Ain't that the way love supposed to be Tell me, where can I find a woman like that
  • I don't know exactly what song it is. But, there was a song that was playing in my bf's car when his car flipped over into a ditch that he refused to listen to it for a long time. Anytime it came on he would quickly change it to something else. I don't know if he still has the same reaction to it, but he said it just reminded him of his accident and he didn't want to hear it.

  • Yes, several. I strongly associate songs with events where I heard them. I still get a melancholy feeling when I listen to songs like "Closing Time," "She's So High," and the theme song for "The Proud Family" (why was that even on?) all for different reasons. Off the top of my head, I can't remember any associated with a really bad occasion, although I'm sure there's a lot...
  • I was a young kid at a moment in which both my parents were fighting and hurting themselves like crazy. I was searching for a radio broadcast when I heard just a little piece of a song in which a young kid is singing something in Spanish like "Please Lord, don't allow them to break their vows...." I just turned off the radio and started crying. A painful moment in life....
  • i don't love you by MCR after my husband cheated on me he put it up as his video on myspace, i don't know if it was directed at me, the girlfriend or if he just liked that song .... whichever is the reason, it didn't set right with me!
  • "For The Good Times" by Ray Price.
  • Anything by Static-X - I'll listen to it for a month and it'll get old, and a couple of months later want to listen to it again. Vermilion pt II by Slipknot - had my first gay encounter to that song. I eventually had to leave him because he was in love with his own gayness more than he was with me. He worshiped his situation!
  • this one song by a band called Broder Daniel makes me feel really depressed when/if i hear it. It reminds me of the time my ex broke up with me.. I am over him but the songs reminds me of how i felt then and there. also this called Moonlight Shadow by a band called Smile DK (i think) reminds me of when my cat died. I don't know why but the song makes me bawl my eyes out! :(
