Yes. Because they like to continue eating.

I don't think I would trust a pastor that never questioned his faith. Not that I trust a pastor more than anyone else regarding spiritual matters. My point is that if you never question, how can you have answers.

It's the money, honey. Once you've conned a few innocent believers you just can't get enough of it!

If we never question our faith, it will not deepen or stand the tests that other peoples' faith must stand. Only cults discourage questions. Wrestling with faith issues and questioning our own motives and beliefs is a healthy exercise and part of what it means to be free and made in God's image. Because I have been through crises of faith and emerged with a deeper faith, I can relate to people who struggle and I can walk alongside them in their questioning. I never discourage an honest question in myself or in others.

Money and power. Just think what those dudes can do by manipulating their sheep

This is one great question -- I personally think it's only human for everyone to question their faith. I would think that pastors know this but also know that it may be temporary. So, they keep going by believing that God will give them something to get past this. Some bible figures questioned their faith. I've questioned my faith from time to time but I know that my faith can't be measured by feelings.
