What was the most unusual trip or vacation you have ever taken?

Our trip to Vietnam in April this year. It was unusual in the sense that we were not supposed to take a vacation at that time.

I guess unusual might be horsepacking with our horses. We went in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, from the east side out of Bishop, CA and had a grand trip with our herd:-)

My family was loaded up finally (nine kids) and we drove to see the "world famous" Mitchell, SD Corn Palace!! Yes, that was a VERY disappointing and strange trip for me... Look it up and you will take pity on me... :P

The location was fairly typical, but the circumstances were interesting. I had just moved to a new city for college about a week before this happened. On a Friday night, I went to a community movie event to meet people. I ended up meeting this girl and talking to her for a good portion of the night, and then the next morning I called her and asked if she wanted to go to the coast with me. So, we ended up packing up some blankets and a camera and drove to the beach barely even knowing each other, and then took a bunch of pictures and had lunch and then drove back home. Probably one of the most impulsive things I've ever done. =)
