Our church has its annual picnic in the cemetary we own. Or maybe it was the time I was in the hospital for something completely unrelated and passed the morgue after a old friend of mine had just died in a car accident and I knew her body was in there.

I was on my bluetooth talking to my mother and my father last week while driving on the freeway between a garbage truck and a tractor trailer doing 60 mph. I told my folks that if I get crushed between these to big vehicles in a horrible accident they will be able to hear the glass shattering and the metal crushing and me screaming. My mother's reply "why do you have to be so morbid?" I grew up with a father who read me crime and murder stories out of the paper every Sunday and she has the nerve to ask me that.
