  • My parents just purchased the Princeton Review's guide to paying for college. You can get it here: http://www.amazon.com/Paying-College-Without-Admissions-Guides/dp/0375765670/sr=8-2/qid=1166504446/ref=sr_1_2/105-5398828-8356469?ie=UTF8&s=books
  • usually with money
  • Student finance, part time jobs and eating nothing but pasta all year! (25p meal!)
  • Some get loans, and some get help with grants, and some just work and save the money, but it takes a long time, depending on what you are going for. Every college, or trade school, have a financial department, that will take your information, and see what they can do to help you achieve your dream of college. Good luck to you!!
  • Loans, grants, work study and working 3 jobs to get through it. My school was $96,000 for 4 years.
  • in australia, the goverment pays, then you pay it back through your tax returns once you have graduated. everyone can go if they get a place in uni. it's a good system to let people as anyone can get hecs (that's what they call it, it just sucks that you will be in debt after you graduate.
  • My parents right now are paying for my college, well actually GM is paying for a part of my college and once I'm going to a bigger university Financial Aid and loans will help pay for it!
  • I, being a college student, use Fasfa and I work full-time. Sometimes it is tough but I value my education over most things. Try hard and you will be able to pay for college.
  • If you're an attractive female with little modesty or pride in yourself, you can get a webcam and go to town. Otherwise, work part time year round and get a full time summer job while living with parents or guardians. SAVE it.
  • Parents, loans, friends, job, I've meet a lot of strippers that said they were in school?
  • Credit requirements are tougher now, and loan options are fewer because many banks no longer view private education loans as a good investment. So the numbers will be a lot different for the 2008-2009 school year and beyond. Fewer students will be able to afford to go to college, but many resourceful students will discover innovative funding sources. A larger percentage of college students and parents will seek alternative funding sources, such as contributions from family, friends, and alumni. Alternative funding websites, such as SchoolRaise.com, are available to help students and parents reach out to the people in their social networks (friends, family, alumni, etc.) and request help paying for college, $50 at a time.
  • With great difficulty usualy. :P
  • I've met alot of people selling things on Ebay for just that reason. I have 2 kids of my own so believe me I feel the pinch on my wallet too.
  • One gets into college, then saves up until the end of semester and still doesn't accumulate enough to pay it off, then attends harassing calls from the college talking about how they're gonna put a hold on his transcript if the balance isn't paid in full, then he falls short by ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!!!! and has to skip the next semester Rinse, wash, repeat for 8 years lol
