  • Please describe it so that I can help you configure it. I need company, max speed, average speed, hardware, etc.
  • I don't know if I am understanding your question, the way you want me to, but I have learned that high speed internet, offered by our cable company, is the fastest ever! I have tried other high speed internet services, but this is by far the fastest, and it does not need the phone line either. It goes through the cable box instead. It costs about 50.00 per month.
  • telus download speed around 700 KB/s um upload i forgot and so on and so forth
  • Assuming your ISP's connection to your home is not at fault, there are some Windows configuration tweaks you can do to speed things up. http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks
  • Most things for internet speed are not a matter in your hands. Beginning with the company... The information is coded to be smaller so that speeds may be higher coming down, they reach your home and must be decoded through the modem, after the modem they must be decoded and sent to your computer in a language it will understand. Your computer process's this information with ease and then must send back to the server for more information. Information Request. Sending information back is slower because your computer does not convert it to a language that travels over the line better. Most easy fixes come from decreasing cable length. Using CAT5 Ethernet cables (CAT6 is out but it is VERY touchy)Getting the newest modem (a little research is required) DO NOT listen to people at bestbuy or anything, nothing corporate, if you have a small computer shop in town, consult them as they will give you the best information on internet. The time being, Cable internet and t1 style internets are the fastest in the world offering upwards of 4meg. Hope this helped =]
