Why ruin a good relationship with a marriage?
-
well I'll celebrate my anniversary in April of 33yrs and NO won't lie and say its been a bed of roses for 32 yrs but if two people work together, learn to communicate with each other, learn to give & take, they can have a good marriage. Follow some basic rules: Never try to change your partner into someone else Never go to bed mad at each other, there's always a chance one of you might not be there in the morning! Learn how to say your sorry Take time out for your selfs, like a weekend alone! Never say you can't go see your(or her family) family, if you don't like them stay home let her go alone(or him) Remember to give little I Love you gifts once in awhile, could be a rose, note etc Have a problem talk it out, don't run from it Share..... But this is just my thoughts and they have helped me threw many hard spots over the yrs, My Dad & grandfather gave me most of this advice

If both people are there to be life PARTNERS it can be awesome and also can be beyond limitation in what they can accomplish. It depends upon what the relationship is based on: generally, it seems that marriages are based upon the personality of one or the other and then it is doomed to failure because we all have flaws. In my experience, it only works with God at the center. If the two people don't have common beliefs then there will always be conflict. This is one reason why marriages of people of different religions and backgrounds are difficult.
