Yes. Many years ago we were burglarized and the investigators needed to catalog fingerprints, prepare an inventory of what was stolen, etc. Then there are the informal times with friends who happen to be in law enforcement. These are not professional visits.

The police were always coming to my house when I was a kid, looking for my dad. He must have been in an orchestra because they knocked on the door and shouted, "Where's the Lute?"

Yes. We have reported crimes in the neighborhood. We've also had friends over who are in law enforcement. Once some U.S. Marshals stopped by while looking for someone else. That sort of thing.

Yes. 1. May, 1986 to take a burglary report. 2. I think it was in 2000 to take a report from my neighbor across the street who had been violently driven from her home by her daughter-in-law. 3. I think it was in 2001 to take a report for the third time that my house was burglarized.

Yes. Domestic violence twice and once to remove my ex who broke into my home and was sitting there on a chair across from my bed masturbating when I woke up. He was trying to build his mental defense..it didnt help him but it kinda freaked me out..LOL :)
