Riddle: A man walked into a restaurant and read on the menu, albatross soup. “My favorite!", he cried, and ordered a double portion. The waiter brought the soup, and when the man tasted it, he screamed and fainted. Why did he do so?

the man in question has had for many years, a pet albatross, which was also his lover. The man would make sweet, sweet love to his dear albatross while it squawked it's protests, which the man took to be great cries of passion. Oh, how that man loved his dear, dear albatross, and because of this, the man never made his beloved into his favorite soup.....albatross soup. One night, while the man was out drinking, persons unknown broke into his apartment, and spirited away with his beloved. The man was heartbroken, and searched in vain throughout the city, but alas, he never saw his beloved again. Several years later, while still grieving his loss, his family and friends did an intervention with him, and provided ideas for him to go out and get over his loss." Go out to dinner" they suggested, "try something exotic", after all, his albatross would wish for him to be happy. The man finally agreed, and set off to find a nice, exotic restaurant. One finally caught his eye, so he went in and sat down. The waiter came and offered him their finest fare from the menu, including albatross soup, but nothing did please the man. He thought long and hard about something to eat when he heard his beloved's voice in his mind, squawking softly, "albatross soup, albatross soup". Immediately, the man called the waiter over, and asked for a double order of the albatross soup, as it was, after all, his favorite. Very good, sir. Ours is the finest in the country. Beginning to feel much lifted out of his deep funk, the man eagerly awaited the arrival of his soup. As the waiter set down the steaming soup, the man took a deep sniff of the fragrant vapors rising from the bowl,.....................and a memory stirred.........oh, so familiar..................... The man tasted the fine broth, and immediately passed out............ For the memory that had stirred in his mind brought him back to thoughts of his lovemaking with his beloved albatross............... When he would perform cunnilingus upon his beloved, it was a scent, and a flavor that he could never forget............ The bouquet,..................the flavor,..............of the albatross soup.......
