Doomsday is set for December 21, 2012, or so said the History Channel. It's an ancient Mayan Prophesy. (I should really stop watching so much TV.)

I'm thinking we have 100 years or less before the church is taken. Then It is 1007 years after that. But, it does say noone knows for sure the hour and day, so I'm only going to certain prophecies that have come/are coming true. (Isreal is a nation again, we are like sodom and gamorrah (sp?), we're moving toward a one world nation, etc.) I guess we'll just see though. ;)

In the long scheme of things, we have been on this planet a very short time. The pandemic flu virus of 1918 wiped out a third of the world's population. We have increased the population 3 times since. Nature might take a corrective action. Stephen Hawkings has postulated that our future as a human race is in colonizing an other planet. We have not done a very good job here. Our nature is to explore and exploit the easy resources. Right now, there are no good planets avaialable to us. We have a choice. Figure out a way to make this planet work for us or devise "warp" speed propulsion. We know that the "flux capacitor" doesn't work. The only output was time shifts that made no sense even to Isaac Asimov and caused Carl Sagan to have a heart attack.

YES In some form. The maximum population sustainability has already been surpassed according to some. But, as circumstances reduce the population, pockets of survivors will still exist. Of course, God get the last say on the subject.

This is a channeled answer from the angels of the Tree of Life by Carol in Israel. We want the people to know that the human race can last for as long as the human consciousness allows it to. The human race is going through many changes and what will be in the future is not what appears to be now. The energy form of the human is changing and man's awareness is expanding. As his awareness expands he is becoming more aware that there are many things the human race can do to improve its situation on this planet. Of course there are still many human beings who are on a much lower level and are not as aware as others and they do not understand that their behavior is causing so much damage to the populations of the earth. When human beings understand who they really are and that they are a soul in a human body, then they will understand why they have come to earth. There are many lessons to be learned for mankind before he rises up and becomes closer to the God spirit he is meant to be. Every man, woman and child on earth is a part of the God energy and has a spark of God in him but many do not realize who they really are. One day there will be peace on earth if enough people who are aware go out and teach others about the truth of life. When that happens man will be able to complete his lifetimes on earth and become who he is meant to be.

I think yes, because we are such adaptable creatures.

The Sixth of June 2006. Oh wait..... ;) I do not believe in the prophecies that have been repeatedly spouted forth by various people. The basic reason for this is that people keep being proved wrong and then changing their dates due to 'miscalculations'. Frankly I think the end to mankind will be slow and pitiful rather than an instant extinction. One thing I think we as a species has is a fantastic ability to adapt. Technology is advancing at such rapid rates some things we percieve that would be able destroy mankind (ie a meteor strike) now may be prevented in the future. In any case I think the human race should be around for a long long time yet.

I think excluding any unforseen iconoclasms I think we will manage. The human race is a resourcefull and adaptive race that can make the best out of the worst...we may not excercise this ability often but we do still have it.

I have no clue. For years people have been saying we are going to die off or Jesus is coming, from what older generations tell me. I truly have no idea how much longer we will last.
