No, I never learned how to navigate the bus where I live now. (In Fairfax, Virginia). When I was a teenager in Schenectady, NY I took the bus all the time.

I wait on the corner...a bus comes..I get on. I drop a few quarters in and Bam....Im on the bus. Where im going I have no idea. What time Im getting there is another mystery.

lol - I DRIVE the city bus:)
-
yep learned as a kid and mastered after a DUI.
-
I know how to get the bus. Is this a trick question? I get on, flash my pass, sit a bit and get off.
-
Sure, go to the nearest bus stop and wait until it comes, climb the steps (unless it's a low-floor model) smile at the driver, drop in tickets/coins or flash your pass, walk down the aisle and sit down.

In my own city (Detroit), No. In Chicago & DC, yes.

Course. Get to the right bus stop for what bus I'm getting on, say '£1.35 please', take the ticket, get a seat. Press the thing when I need to get off, say thanks to the driver and get a dirty look :) It's all fun. If I'm in my school uniform, I can get away with paying less, though.

Well the only bus I ever take is the park and ride from the Capitol center to Preston city center, and that only has 2 stops. get on, pay and sit down, then get off when you reach your destination. The new Preston busses even have leather seats!
-
Yes, I do.

Ha - in London, we have 2 different types of bus stops. Compulsory (white sign) and request (red). To stop a bus on a request, you stick your arm out in plenty of time for the driver to see.
