  • Pay your bills.
  • Pay your bills, that's my money that you borrowed, i want it back !
  • With the new bankrupcy laws your on the hook, they can sue you and the judge will let them attach your paycheck (small anount like $20 per month) They don't write off anymore, if it is a decent amount of money expect to be sued within a 2-7yr period
  • What?! If they did that no one would pay their bills! You always have to pay them back. If you prove that you are completely unable to pay any of your bills they might settle with you for a smaller amount but this will absolutely RUIN your credit and credibility for a long long time.
  • actually if U R over your head and can't get out, the banks and credit card companys can not carry a bad debt for more than 180 days, they can and often will give you a discounted payoff amount up to 75% then they will write the debt off. It will still be a black mark on your credit, or they will sell it off to a collection company whom are general ass holes. Good luck.
  • I think that they can bill you forever, but I am not sure. I owe 2 credit card companys right now, not alot just $300 limit on both, but now they are charging me over the limit fees, and monthly fees, so I owe them like $1000 a peice. I think they will eventualy go to court and take money from your paycheck. Good luck to you though. I am going through the same BS. Can't pay my loans and bills, all I can do is pay my nessities. I am about to be homeless, so, they can kiss my @$$. I am going to have to deal with it later, but I am not going to now. I am thinking about filing bankruptcy, you should look it up and see if it is for you. I am 26yo. So it will be on my credit until I am 33-36. As it stays on your record for 7-10 years for chapter 7. Good Luck To You Judy
