  • Tell myself my plane will NOT go down, and take sleeping pills. Since ive only taken a plane to the UK, its a 9 hour ride.
  • i like to leave early and eat at the airport so i know i will be on time. :-)
  • Just get packed and go.
  • leave early.
  • Buy plenty to eat and read!
  • I always pack as little as possible, to keep luggage at a minimum. I go through my bags carefully to make sure there is nothing that will get thrown away by the security people. I lost some good sewing accessories that way before, and I usually carry a Swiss Army Knife in my purse, so I have to be sure it gets packed away. I always drink plenty of water, and I usually plan on eating in the food court before the flight, because we have to go through security so early. I take my laptop, since there is wireless access in the airport.
  • I always leave my bags packed I just make sure everything is clean. I have doubles of everything so I won't forget my id and I have money that I leave in that bag so I know that I have one. I than go at get me food and put it all in one bag so I can just grab it and pack it the day of my trip. Just for peace of mind I need to be ready at least 2 days before.
  • I start drinking 12 hours before the flight. 2 hours prior, I take a Valium and continue to drink in the airport lounge. Once on board, I order a drink and a paper bag to breathe into. I annoy and scare the person next to me as they feel I may just die. Then I pass out from sheer exhaustion until the plane lands.
  • Spread my wings?
  • Come on dude, it's just a flight...
  • Pray and hope like hell i get a sober pilot.
  • wear comfortable cloths, with sandles (or other easy on/off shoes), with no belt or other things that I need to remove before going through security. make sure I have my ID and boarding pass out, and everything else in my carry-on. then I watch everyone else slow down the security line because they don't know what to do.
