G'day Cutie Pie, Thank you for your question. No I haven't. However, if you go out with him, you will possibly be able to tell him apart from his brother over time. You might also want to speak to his mother to see how she tells your boyfriend from his brother. Regards

What..situation? I've had two sets of identical twin male friends over the years. I never really saw them as any different than anyone else... but they never acted exactly the same. They were both individuals. Once you get to know them you can tell who is who by actions. Is the issue not being able to tell who is who, or just not getting used to someone looking exactly like your boyfriend?

I grew up with a pair of identical twins that started out with me in kindergarden. They ended up a grade behind me though since the school thought that they didn't socialize enough with all the other kids. After knowing them for that long, I still had a hard time telling them apart until high school where I saw them a lot more individually. Then I could tell them apart by certain body language they held and their personalities. They also belonged to different crowds and dressed in different styles of clothing. So to handle the situation of mistakenly confusing one for the other...they probably will not be dressed identically when you see them together so it may be easier to pick him out in the beginning by focusing on their clothing. See if one is wearing shoes that you know are definitely his or if you recognize a shirt that one is wearing. This usually works pretty well, unless they share clothing! In the end, once you get to know him more you will get used to his mannerisms and be able to identify him from his brother.
