Well, I haven't posted any quotes to the Bible yet (except one but I deleted it). However, about a million quotes pop into my head when I'm reading anything at all. My excuse is that I spent about 15 years of my life studying The Bible... my mom is an extremely devout Christian woman. There are quote pages all over too. :)

One word "Google"

I usually just make up quotes. Like this: "And he beateth the cattle and soon Jacob begot Moses who lived for 500 years after begetting Mary who begot Joseph. And then Joseph, claiming Mary as his woman, brought Luke into his kingdom and they rejoiced!" John 4:10

I go to christiananswers.net when my Bible is readily available. When my daughter has a question she can't answer for her 7th grade Bible class that is where we go for the answers.

I grew up in a pretty fundamentalist Protestant home. In Sunday school, we had a Bible verse every week. You were rewarded for being able to say the verse (and cite the book, chapter, and verse number) by heart.

Having spent most of my life reading the Bible and religious text in general, I have a lot of things in my head associated therewith. Yes, I do memorize parts of the Bible, but not because I want to impress people - more because I need that stuff to make my life work better! As to getting the quotes, I admit I "cheat" by either accessing the scriptural text I have installed on my computer; or I go to any of the myriad sites available online that have the Bible and other such text available for your reading and copying and pasting pleasure!
