I can't see them either. Maybe Adblock Plus gets rid of them, or maybe they don't give them to users of certain ratings or something. It'd make sense not to give ads to loyal users.

ya, i find them very annoying, i don't know why they need to be in the middle of the answers, they should be on the side instead.

They only come after there has been two or more answers submited I wouldn't say despise but they are a bit of a space hog

I don't really mind but it takes a bit longer to scroll down to look at answers, but if AB is getting more money, then who cares!

I see them, and I don't understand why others do not?? Any computer whizes out there that can answer that? They are abit of a pain!

No. I don't mind and I'm not surprised. AB will have to support itself somehow and as long as it's free to me then I'm happy.

Honestly, didn't even notice really until you asked this question. Thanks alot :) Seriously though, I've been using AB for a long time. I've gotten alot of enjoyment from this site, and the staff of this fine company has always strove (is that a word? Strived, maybe?) to make updates to improve the AB experience. They listen to our complaining as well as our compliments, and adjust accordingly. I think they should be applauded for this. Applause, however, doesn't pay the rent- advertising does. It's just that simple. Answerbag is a For-Profit company, and unless you want to start paying for memberships, get used to the ads. These ads don't really interfere with the overall usefullness of the site, so I, for one, am willing to ignore them.

No. I likew to see free enterprise in action. I also like to know that people who provide services have a n opportunity to create an income through those services. Othgerwise, the service will disappear.

it is abit annoying at first because they weren't expected but getting use to it now.

I want AB to stay in business. To do that, they have to make money. If that is the way they do it, so be it. Mind you, I think they could do better. If they put them in the side, then used frames so the sds stayed put while you scrolled through the answers, you would get more screen seconds and be less in-your-face.

I do indeed really despise them. Ads on the side are enough aren't they? I guess AB needs to be paid for, but can't they be less intrusive?

Ads? What ads? Oh, that's right! I'm using FireFox and Adblock Plus, which I highly recommend everyone else uses.
