You're reading I've got one of these Digital converter boxes here & have downloaded the channels in it. It works fine. My question is how to program my VCR to record a Digital channel like 24.1 when I am gone at work, if only lets me put the old Analog channel 24 in it?

This solution is fine, but if you want to record something on channel 24.1, then something on channel 62.3, you will only be able to do one of them without "manual intervention" of changing the channels on the converter box between the two programs.

A better long-term solution is to get something like an HD-TiVo which has a built-in digital tuner in it and requires no external digital converter.
