  • A vote for a third party candidate is just a "protest vote". You may as well do a write-in vote. Same thing. No chance of a third party candidate winning...so you may as well vote for McCain or Obama or not vote at all.
  • I will vote for my candidate, who happens to be a member of one of the two main parties. I see no one else out there of interest to me. :) ((hugs))
  • I used to think that way (voting for a third party) as a protest vote, but in our system you HAVE to vote D or R because your protest vote ends up being waisted and not helping in any way. Voting in protest just hurts the other candidate that may have won in a close election. I live in Ohio and as we all know Ohio is almost all ways the "president picking state" most elections come down to how Ohio votes. So it is so important to NOT throw your vote away in this state!
  • I voted for Bob Barr!
  • i always vote the straight republican ticket. but, to answer your q, if someone better came along, i would be scared to vote for him/her bc of what you said. but, i like to tell the liberals that i know that they should vote for third parties. lmao! i was really hyping up ron paul last year. it was fun.
