  • DNA test would be simple enough. I don't know why anyone would spend that kind of money just to find out the sex of a miscarriage.
  • A chromosome check would reveal sex at the single-cell stage: X chromosome = girl, Y=boy.
  • I'm sure there are. If she has had more than 3 miscarriages they start all kinds of testing. My daughter had 1 miscarriage a yr for 3yrs in a row! Till finally.......I have a grandson! It seems some cell in her blood and some cell in her husbands doesn't agree with a baby girl. It's a long drawn out explaination, it just means.....her body rejects a girl fetis.
  • if she had the money to do it they could do an amniocentesus which is very risky.... I cant see why at 8 weeks she would know the sex, even if they had sonograms the doc couldnt see the plumbing... Im sure its possible, but highly unlikely
  • Im not sure as an embryo is always concieved as a girl the sex is not determined until the embryo starts to grow and at 8 weeks i not sure if the embryo is formed enough to make the judgment of sex.
