How much does a man's choice in boxers or briefs effect how you think about his personality? Is there a correlation to his personality based on his preference on underwear?

I think what a guy wears changes what people that dont know him well might think more than there is an actual correlation to his personality. I wore boxers for a long time and then I started wearing briefs again for the support about 2 years ago maybe, my personality didnt change when I switched. oddly enough around the time I was starting to switch I had recently met my gf and she knew that I wore boxers because she had seen me in them a few times. The first time she saw me in briefs she kinda freaked out but we didnt really discuss it seriously until I talked to her online later that night because I think we were both a bit embarrassed. She said she didnt think I was the type of guy that would wear briefs and they were kinda dorky. so it does change someones view I guess. Im not really sure that if she had known I wore briefs before we started dating it would of changed anything. Underwear choice doesnt change personality but it does make a small statement I think like most things you have a choice on.
