By 2030, the US is going to have to make significant changes to the medicare and social security system as us baby boomers will have related costs that exceed dollars going into the fund. It is my opinion that in the next ten yrs., corrections will enable us to prevent disaster. At the same time, there is a trend of having less seniors move around the country at retirement so some econimies will slow down state by state. Demographics will change by 'age' and there will also be a surge to create products and services for the retired. The younger generation will be faced with challenges to become better educated and execute their life's vocation. The top will be spinning faster, and if we intend to keep up with the rest of the world, we need to get a move on. A lot of intellectual capital is going to go for a long break
