US Army Soldiers. Why is the Stars & Stripes flag on their uniforms the wrong way round? The stars should be on the left but they are on the right side.

Maybe the person you are staring at has his shirt inside-out...or has sewn his flag on backwards...maybe the army got the flags cheap because they were made backwards...ask China..they probably made them. Then I insist that you GET A LIFE and start worrying about things like how you will make a living when you don't graduate from school...maybe you could join the army and find out the answer to your question IN PERSON while shooting people you have never met in Iraq or Afganistan.

The one on their right shoulder is like that - I guess the Army thought it looked like it was flowing backwards when the soldier was moving forward.

The stripes always face backwards, that's because the blue part is on the staff and we are moving forward. If the flag was on the other sleeve, it would face the other way. Plus, it made it easy to spot fake uniforms early in the war.

The flag is sewn on exactly as it should be.
