  • Colonel Sanders secret recipe remains a secret. The only way you can legally learn it is to be a part of the corporate department in charge of product development and distribution. The seasonings are marketed to the individual restaurants as pre-packaged ingredients. swabby
  • I have read that analysis on the dry seasoning mix showed it was salt, flour, msg & pepper. If you look at the chicken, you could believe that, they would have to grind their spices finely to acheive this appearance (which is do-able) - but can you taste any spices that are identifieable - I don't think I can.
  • I have heard, and tried, Seven Seasons salad dressing powder (original flavor), mixed with the flour coating is an almost perfect rip-off of the colonels flavorings. I do not remeber where I learned that. It's not what he uses, just a near 'nuff alternative.
