  • Each type of birth control pill has it's own sensitivities to missed doses or rescheduled doses. As you mention not missing the dose but only changing the dose time which could be up to 23 hours difference in one day, yes your chances for pregnancy would rise, especially with some formulation of birth control pills. Just to be safe use other forms of birth control at least for the remainder of the pill cycle you are talking to be absolutely safe. Use of condoms by the male would be first choice, combined with vaginal creams used by the female and then with all methods of contraception they are all not 100% effective all the time. Although abstinence is seldom a choice in certain relationships, it will indeed prevent unwanted pregnancies.
