Thats why I won't go out on my birthday. I have told them not to do it before we go in,, yep you guess it.

It was the day before my 21st Birthday. I was at Pizza Hut and and all the sudden, everyone at my table started singing Happy Birthday to me. After two seconds, everyone in the whole resturant was singing it to me. After it was sung, everyone came up to me, asking how old I am, and giving me money. Hey, I think I might do that real soon to see if I can get more money that way.

Yes! I hate it! My boss and my friend got me at the Olive Garden, and they sing it in Italian! AHHH!

I hate it especially at nearly 47 the last thing I want to do is remember my birthday.

No, I do not think I would be embarrassed simply because the wait staff at a restaurant join in with my family and friends to sing Happy Birthday to me. However an occasion like this would be rather remote because I won't want my family and friends to celebrate my birthday on that scale. My personal preference - just for members of the immediate family to have an evening together in the privacy of the home.
