For now, cover-up. She'll have to consult a tattoo parlor or a doctor about ways to get them removed.

Or embrace it and tell people it's religious.... turn a really dumb idea into something good. If it's a home done one there is a chance some disinfectant and lots of washing with warm water and soaking in water will help remove it if it hasnt healed yet.

Laser surgery performed by a doctor. If it's just black outline, then it's easily removed. If it's colored, then it will be harder to remove. Reds and whites are some of the most difficult colors to remove. Laser surgery is the way to go though. I just wonder if she'll have a moon scar on her forehead after.

if its homemade its probably scarred so no. you can take out the color with laser treatments which are in the thousands to get removed, maybe $1000. but the scar will still be there.

I am sure she IS embarrassed. But, when you drink to excess, these are the sorts of consequences that sometimes happen. She will have to have it removed by a professional. It will cost and may leave a scar. Perhaps it might persuade her, and anyone who knows her, to be more responsible with alcohol.

Try bangs until she can afford laser surgery.

see http://tattoo-removal-in.com for different methods.

Wrecking Balm. Its a cream, but it actually works on small sections at a time. It slowly breaks up the ink/pigment created by the tattoo. http://www.wreckingbalm.com/

There is no way to remove it. It's an unfortunate life long regret for a short term decision. I can wear a pink playboy bunny the rest of my life, or a scarred up bunny. I still think about that night and if I'd only chickend out. http://i481.photobucket.com/albums/rr176/cmorton57/Playboy%20bunny/img3.jpg

New techniques have been developed recently (and are continuing to be developed) for tattoo removal. Your friend should probably go see a dermatologist to discuss the options.

you could try laser surgery. there are two basic types of laser surgery. One of them hits the tattoo and dissolves the ink slowly over time, and you have to undergo laser treatment for each individual color in the tattoo. Basically the Ink is dissolved slowly into the body. The second laser zaps it out right away, but there are concerns of what would happen of the massive outflow of ink all of a sudden into the blood stream. Talk to a tattoo laser removal specialist to find out your options, and the pros and cons. By the way, sometimes a city hospital will do cosmetic surgery stuff for much cheaper than a private doctor. Check with the dermatology doctors in your local municipal hospital to find out your low cost options.
