I had a ceiling fan hung in my bedroom and I think it looks too low. I was looking at ceiling domes to give me a bit more height (there is attic space above) I was wondering if the fan could be installed in that and if it would still w

    If you have not already done so, you can replace the shaft that attaches to the ceiling wit a shorter piece. Go to Lowes or Menards, they carry several different lengths of ceiling fan shaft.
