How many of you really have the attitude that "inner beauty" is more important than outward beauty? Do you know any outward looking people who are "cute" but on the inside they are ugly and vice versa. Am I odd for looking at inner beauty.

These days, it seems to be harder, and harder to find those that their beauty shines from the inside out. Sadly, I know more people who don't have it, than those who do.

I like to meet people who are naturally beautiful. Not with looks or anything, but personality-wise. I know quite a lot of people, however, who are quite the beauty on the outside, but an ugly troll on the inside. People like these seem to populate the world more than the other way around. And no, you're not odd for looking at inner beauty. Because looking for the inner beauty in someone is my way of getting to know someone.

Outer appearance can instantly attract you to a particular person (I call it falling in lust with somebody), but "inner beauty" is what helps you to fall in love with that person. I have met many people who were outwardly attractive, but found that their personalities, actions towards others, and extreme arrogance made me look at them in a totally different way. There have been some people who would be considered by others to be "plain" or "ugly", that I have found to be absolutely gorgeous because of their attitudes and kindness. Of course there are some people who have the best of both worlds... and some who have the worst. You really have to get to know that person on a deeper level than just looks to find out if they are somebody you truly find "beautiful".

You're not odd! My b/f used to have both. Now at times, i look at him and think that he's the ugliest person on this earth, other days when he is being nice i think he's better looking. A hot guy/girl can come up to you and open their mouth and instantly be ugly!I have always been that way.

Your not odd your my hero. When I was in junior college, I had a cripling crush on my math teacher. My knee's would go week, and my mouth would stop knowing how to use words correctly if I was within eye's view of him. He was nicknamed "eye gore" because of his glass eye and hunch back. He stood under 5 feet tall. His brilliant mind and gentle manner made me see him as the most attractive man on earth. I'm a sucker for beauty in it's highest form., which resides , for me anyway, first in the mind and next in the heart. that's what I find beautiful for me.

I believe that because it has occurred to me. Thinking someone is so beautiful or handsome and after getting to know them and their ugly personality they become unattractive. And vice versa
