I didn't know what Asperger's was, so I looked it up. So, I don't think you should avoid being social. What you are learning though, is a lesson I would have liked to learn much earlier. Having a few friends that will stick by you is much better than a lot of friends that are fairweather and don't really care about you too much. Be social, have fun, but most importantly,...

Answer to:
3x-r=r(-3+x)
I would say, to solve for x:
3x-r=r(-3+x)
3x-r=-3r+rx
3x-rx=-2r
x(3-r)=-2r
x=-2r/(3-r)=2r/(r-3)
The above answer divides rx by rx to give 0, but it should really be 1. Corrections welcome.

What would you do if your "best friend" slept with your ex and she knew that you weren't over him yet?
I would look for friends who have values similar to yours. Me and my friends generally think cross-dating is not acceptable. There sure is! In fact, there are plenty. The thing is, many people end up lonely in marriages. So, take your time finding a fish who you will be happy with, for a long time. A little bit of loneliness now is worth happiness for your life. Plus, try to enjoy your time alone - it can be really nice. Read, think, enjoy friends and family, learn, etc...

Because they are too immature/anxious to realise that it is the obsession that will turn the person off. Also, they don't own the fact that if it's not happening, there are plenty of more interesting people out there. So, why spend your time thinking about someone who doesn't really matter?

He says he needs space to be happy after i cheated what does this mean and what do i do?
I just said the same thing to my cheating ex. For me, the deal is: the cheating essentially ruined my perception of him by destroying my respect for him and trust in him. I want to be happy on my own again. If he is worth anything, he'll wait. But he might have to wait a while. And he might never be my boyfriend again because he would really have to prove himself. Also, if I stayed...

Wow, nothing like some pressure. First, I agree with the other answers that you have to see for yourself too. I'd be initially taken aback that he would actually say that - isn't that what 'dating' is for? Does it even need to be stated? I mean, you don't jump from one date to marriage. Take your time and see if your initial infatuation was only that. In all honesty,...

Have you ever been cheated on? did you get revenge?
Yes and sort of. I think that being with someone else shortly after will just mess with your head even more. To be honest, I think happiness is the best revenge. So that would mean healing, being as good of a person as you can be, being happy with yourself, then moving on.

Ladies: If I cancelled a date with you when I came to pick you up, how would you react? How could I apologize?
I would likely be pissed off, but it may depend on a couple of factors. What is your reason (e.g. was it a death or sickness in the family, pet run over, work emergency or just a football game)? Do you sincerely feel bad? Why didn't you let me know sooner (before I got ready)? It would also help (hate to say it) if the guy brought something to make me feel better, e.g. flowers, a...

If a guy likes a girl, but the girl's friend was interested in him... and the girl's friend called him: how would that guy respond? Would he think the girl didn't mind her friend calling him--meaning she doesn't like him?
If they are really good friends, the girl you actually like may not want to hurt her friendship over you. I'd either hang out with the other girl and see if it goes anywhere or back off altogether for a little while then go for the girl you like.

Depends - do you hope you can still be back with her? If you do and you think it is possible, then go see her so that you know. If yes and you don't think it can work, don't go see her - you may just be torturing yourself. If you absolutely do NOT want to be with her, but you care for her as a friend, sure why not?

How do you walk away from an argument instead of losing your temper?
Just think about the consequences. It is obvious you don't want to lose your temper, so concentrate on your reason. It may also help to 'time out' the person you are arguing with, take a deep breath, and then try to start the conversation all over again. You may want to talk with the other person at a time when you are not arguing so you can set these ground rules.

Why do nearly all American women say they want to be "equal" to men, when the reality of the situation is about as far from that as possible?
It is true, men and women are far from being equal. Women are far superior!
On a serious note, it comes down to equality in such things as job opportunity, conversations, pay, and rights.
And some of this is sticky, for e.g. woman more often take time off to take care of children, so they may miss valuable training and work experience.

Not anymore. I came to realize that it is the other way around somewhere in my mid-20s - that is, bad boys are weak and nice guys are strong. I understand the confidence issue, but I found that also changes over time. Nice guys develop a good sense of self as they get older.

How can get over someone I really love and want to stay with him for the rest of my life, when I have a strong feeling that he is not happy with me? I love him to the point that I would let him go (even though I feel so desperate at the thought of that)
It will take some time to get over him. Break ups are never nice and we all feel desperate at the thought of losing someone we care about. In my experience, the only way is to give yourself time to feel complete again. Though I have many friends that say the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. For me personally, it is a little self destructive.

My husband of 16years has moved out he has cheated on me all our marriage life and now needs space to see how he feels he is real mean verbally. he says we may be able to work this out but he is still living with another woman. please advise
Take some time for yourself, think about you. If you can, don't even talk to him. You really need to re-establish yourself after this and realise the wonderful things about yourself and what you have to offer. You don't deserve this.

Men with huge egos what are they all about? What makes them tick? And can they really love a woman?
They are all about loving themselves. Women that adore them probably make them tick, or when women won't give them the time of day. They can probably love a woman to a degree but it may not be very fulfilling for the woman.

It is a tough one. It could be anything from sociopathic tendencies or her making him face his own guilt (ie the reason might not be whether or not he has feelings for her).

My husband is getting a little to close for comfort with a female co worker. Although I don't think he would cheat on me, he is her confidante and the person she turns to advice on her relationship. He seems to be there for her in ways I find uneccessar
It is tough. I would be uncomfortable too. Unless it is a really scary situation (like she is being abused), she should probably be working out her relationship issues with her boyfriend. What is "too close for comfort" though? Are you also friends with her?

I think I am walking away from the exact same situation, but I have my reasons. I would have to ask two questions before giving my advice: (1) how did you find out? and (2) did he have a woman on the side or was it a one time thing?

Its my understanding that single women love to go after married men. Is it true? If you think it is Why? If you dont have you heard this before?
I think it is only true of single women who have a low self esteem or who have other issues (e.g. commitment issues). Many single women would not. I have not heard it before as a rule, but I have seen it happen.

If you're playing a game with a child, do you "let" them win on purpose or do you think it's better to let them learn about losing in a controlled situation?
I don't think children should always win, because I think they should know how to be both good winners and losers. I usually play fair, but when I see them getting upset or trying really hard I will either let them win or work harder to let them see the rewards to trying hard. There are some games where I will always let them win though (e.g. wishbones).

Why does everyone just assume all your questions are about YOU, and not a friend or co-worker? or hell just made up!!
I have had people assume I was all parties in my questions. It is kind of interesting. I've seen people state in the Q that the Q is not about them - that may help if it irritates you!

Would you say that you are taken for granted by others?
No they don't. It used to happen 10 years ago. Friendships flourish, but they also go through tough times. I would suggest that you need to try surrounding yourself with people who do appreciate you so that you feel good about yourself. It doesn't mean you have to stop hanging around those who take you for granted (that will likely change), but spend some time in some healthier...

What is it with all these people assuming their partner is cheating on them simply because they won't let them see their text messages or e mails? If you have that little faith in your partner then why the hell are you with them?
I agree that you should have enough trust to not have to look at a person's emails and texts. However, once you find out a person is cheating or have very good reasons to suspect, I think the line gets blurred and it will depend on the couple's values and the situation.

For me, it would depend on how they felt about the event. Do they regret it or do they think the person deserved it? Also, how deep was the affair. In the end, it is all personal really, everyone will have a different perspective on this one.

If you rejected a girl but still talked to her, would it be wrong to tell her how much you love your girlfriend and tell her that you two hung out together.. and went out for dinner and stuff.
I think it is the most honest way to go. You don't want to rub it in her face, but if that is how you feel and she is truly your friend, then do it. Otherwise, the slope gets a little slippery, ie why are you talking to her in the first place?

Answer to:
Do you think trust has to be earned? Or do you have trust until someone does something to have you lose it? Why?
I think you should give people a certain level of trust off the bat until you know them better. So, they partially have to earn your trust as you get to know them. For e.g. would you lend someone your car if you just met them randomly five minutes ago? If you knew them for a couple of weeks, you might invite them over for a BBQ. Then after a year or so, you might lend them your car.

2. a person who has a sexual or romantic relationship with another.

Be very careful, that kind of inconsistency is a not a good sign. You both need to sit down and talk it out - maybe even with a counsellor - to avoid the escalation of potential problems. Good luck!

How do i get over my wife cheating on me? We had been drinking heavily, so much that I fell backwards and cracked me head open, ending up in the hospital. That is when she cheated on me. I know ooch.
Ya, that sucks Optomus!
It is bad when someone cheats, but when they do it after you have injured yourself so badly you are in the hospital, that must be very hard. It is the last thing you need to be thinking when things go wrong in life.
I'd ask myself: how much do you love this person? Do you in general feel like they are a good person but really messed up? Are they...

My ex-bf and I are very close but he has a gf. Sometimes he comes over to my place and we cuddle and talk, no sex. Else we talk on the phone. His gf doesn't know about our close friendship. Are we having an affair?
It seems so. That she doesn't know is a concern. I would ask yourself how you would feel if you were in her shoes.

Would you have an affair with your friends husband..This seems to be some kind of epidemic all over. How do you fall inlove with YOUR friends spouse?
I have had opportunity and never done it. For me, I think it would even take a long time to see that person until much after the relationship ended! Relationships with friends and family are too important.
Answer to:
My husband cheated on me and got the girl pregnant. We are trying to work things out. How do I tell my two young children of their dad's infidelity and the new addition?
Please just take care of your emotional health. You need to think of yourself during this time too.
Otherwise, I agree with the previous answers. Seek out some counseling, but make sure you find a very good therapist!
Answer to:
Is it OK to have a relationship with your ex-spouse, when you are remarried, that your current spouse is not a part of?
By the simple virtue of the fact that you put this in the 'cheating and adulterous' category of AB makes your reasons for having this relationship questionable. You need to be honest to your spouse about this relationship, regardless of the nature. If your spouse is not comfortable with it, you need to ask yourself which relationship is most important. If they are comfortable with...

"If women ruled the world, there would be no wars" - I know women are usually the less aggressive of the genders, but isn't this a gross oversimplification?
I would say that there would be no physical wars, but the political warfare would be hardcore.

Wife and I were apart for 5 months. She had an affair 4 most of that time. I discovered the affair 8 years ago that occurred over 13 years ago. I've tried to put it out of my mind and I do forgive her, but cannot stop thinking about it. Any suggestions?
This is a very difficult, painful thing for you and I am sorry to hear you went through it.
First, you must focus on the fact that you were apart and that it is no longer occurring (ie focus on the future like Marky Mark said).
Another thing that can help is trying to train your mind to think about positive things instead. I looked this up once when I was very stressed - cognitive...
Answer to:
If you've never cheated on your S/O of several years, do you get the feeling of mild regret that you've perhaps missed out on something? Be honest. I do.
Never good to be dishonest, especially when you're messing with the feelings of someone you say you care about.
Answer to:
My best friend is male and currently has a GF. He says I am very special to him because he can talk about anything with me and we share common interests. He does not feel the same way around his GF. Should I feel worried?
I think you should be aware that he may have more feeling for you than his girlfriend. Maybe that he is in the wrong relationship. You have to make sure that he is not going to hurt this girl because he is more interested in you. What do you want? That is a big question. Just don't cross any boundaries you shouldn't until it is time for the two of you.
Answer to:
If a cheating partner does everything you ask them to do after you kick them out (counselling for their lying, the relationship, calling you every work shift), should you consider taking them back? Common-law relationship of 2 years.
Go know, That is fair. Not that kind of gal though. I do feel like he will have to prove himself, however.

What is the Best Way to Catch a Cheater When You Suspect They Are Being Unfaithful?
I agree with Oka. I disagree with the invasion of privacy unless you have a very firm reason why you suspect cheating.
Answer to:
If a man lies about an affair for months, until he is caught red-handed, can he ever be trusted again? He did end it on his own, but says he was to ashamed to tell the truth.
I know he ended it because I have talked with the other woman. She confessed to everything when I confronted her and confirmed that he was truthful about that.
Answer to:
If a man cheats, will he do it again?
He has pretty serious consequences right now. He has lost most of his friends, his house, and all of our mutual activities with friends (which are several times a week). He of course deserves it. I have great friends who will support me whatever I decide to do. The challenge is deciding...

Answer to:
Isn't it wise to keep a platonic relationship secret from an extremely jealous wife who thinks everything is cheating, to avoid problems at home?
Starting a secret relationship with someone, whether platonic or not, is a recipe for betrayal. Who is more important, the wife or the other woman? If your wife, you should put your relationship with her first. If the other woman, then your marriage has more serious issues.
Answer to:
Having an emotional affair with a married man who is under marriage struggle. If you do not want to be the homewrecker, what should you do to let him know that you are available if he divorce . How the relationship should be maintained?
Stay away from him until he has figured himself out.
Don't forget that men seldom leave their spouse for the other woman, they just say they will.
There should be no relationship until he is on his own.

Answer to:
Could you be friends with someone you knew has or would cheat on their spouse in a heartbeat?
It depends if you think that you could be the person they cheat on their spouse with. In that case, no. If it is a friend that you have no sexual attraction to, then yes.

Answer to:
Can you morally justify sleeping with someone, knowing that they are cheating? What if you know that they aren't happy together?
By simple virtue of the fact that you need to ask if it can be morally justified means that you can't. It sounds like it is something you want and are trying desparately to justify it.
In relationships, there are ups and downs. If a couple is not happy right now, it does not mean that they are not generally and will never be. Nor does it mean their relationship is over.
If you...
