My 1year old Pitt Bull, Eva, won't eat. She was outside 2nights ago and we think she got a litle to cold overnight. She has not eaten in 2 days now. No vomiting no diahrrea she is drinking water though. She's not lethargic just seems sad?
Dogs don't get sad perse, they aren't like people. Not eating however is usually a sign of illness. If you can't get her to take any food I'd get her into the vet pronto...or call the vet now and see if they have any suggestions.
On another note though, if you love her and want to keep her a well balanced dog, don't let her do things you wouldn't normally...

I'm 5 months pregnant and I have a good relationship with my boyfriend, but I recently found his private Myspace page and he won't let me see it. Does this mean he's cheating?
Cheating? Probably not...saying or showing stupid things...probably. Or stroking a little ego with pictures of half naked "friends" that he's never met or intended to meet that publicize themselves on myspace. Basically, he's probably being immature. Either way, take a deep breath and worry about you and baby. If you have even a hint of doubt though, cut off the nooky for...

Has Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream been realized in America yet?
Ok, I'll get poohed here, but I really don't think so. If it were, we would realize that Martin Luther King Jr (really Michael King) had a very horribly flawed character and would replace his holiday with one to honor more honorable people like Rosa Parks. There are too many lies and cover ups about him to grant him such an honor in our nation and he also didn't seem to believe...

Answer to:
If god had something against homosexuality why did he make them that way?
Being drunk, adulterous, murdering and stealing are all wrong. People choose to act out on their fleshly desires and become sinners. As far as God "making" homosexuals, they may have a predisposition toward homosexuality, but have to decide to engage in it. It is not a special gene. Just because you are predisposed to drug addiction doesn't mean you have to become a drug addict.

How do you know when its more than a feeling?
When you've seen them at their worst, they've seen you at your worst and you still decide to be with them. At some point love is a choice, not a feeling. It happens when you decide it happens. There will always be times when you feel like you don't like the person you've chosen to love.

Is it fair to judge people?
Is it fair? Not usually. Is it necessary, yes, often times. You have to make judgments about people all of the time. Like, is this person someone I feel comfortable with my kids playing at their house. I think the key is to not be caught in that judgment if it proves to be wrong.
Also, we can't judge a man's heart. You can judge their actions especially if they effect you,...

Why does the LGBT people support NAMBLA by letting NAMBLA march in all of the gay ride parades
I don't see why this is an invalid question. I would like a good answer on this also because the only answer that seems obvious to me is that if LGBT were to not allow the NAMBLA to participate, they would be making a judgment call on someones sexual preference which is what they accuse conservatives of doing. The other option is they truly support child molestation. Neither are very...

Breeding siblings is almost never a good idea. You have to KNOW what you are doing when you do that because the negative traits have a double chance of coming through. They have some really bad aggression and bad temperament tendencies and should only be bred by experienced professionals because of this. Too many people...

I just cheated on my girlfriend of 2 months, and admitted the next day. It was with my x, and my girl lives long distance. How can I comfort her over the phone, and let her know I want only her, and want to repair my mistake?
Well, first off you shouldn't try to convince her you only want her since your actions obviously show otherwise. It's good you admitted it, but I would think it would be best to break it off now. You'll both end up pretty hurt once this is all finished up and there really isn't a great way to repair it now.

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but you can replace the motherboard to have larger memory capacity. That is what usually restricts the memory, not the size of the tower. If you want to add drives, you can be creative with positioning and get expansion slots, but you want to be careful to have adequate cooling so you don't fry your system. It would be great if I had become a doctor. Otherwise, close to hating it. I have to be careful now though because I'm doing school with my son and want him to learn good penmanship...and to know what I wrote when I write "good job" on his paper...maybe I'll just use stickers...hmmm...
Answer to:
Is it wise to pop the question on your first date? I have a friend that did just that.
That depends on how long they knew eachother before the first date. And I'd expect that they would have a fairly long engagement and good marriage counseling before hand. Otherwise, they are either totally smitten and need to give it time or trying to get laid, which is detestable.

What does everyone think about that guy in California that has a website that informs aspiring child molesters how to stalk their prey?Police can do nothing because he has not violated any laws. What would you do if you caught him taking pics of your kids?
What I would want to do...and likely what my husband would do would probably be against the law. :) It's disturbing and sick. He's said he would, given the opportunity and not having to serve jail time have sex with 3 year old girls. That should at least get him a solid police monitor on him.

What would be your thoughts on if a older church member regularly surfed "MySpace" accounts to make sure that the young people in the congregation didn't have any questionable content posted on their page? Also, this has been made public knowledge.
Ok, I'm probably going to be booed here, but a church is considered a family, especially in smaller churches. I have many friends who have 'mom patrol' as their tagline, because in reality they are making sure they know what there kids are up to.

I am homeschooling my children and plan to continue to do so as long as I'm able. I was homeschooled from the 5th grade on until I started college at 16. I know my education was better than I would have had in public school. I also had more opportunities such as having a job early, being in sports, many activities with other homeschoolers that would take public or private school students...

Why are people so ignorant?
Because ignorance is bliss...and people are too lazy to research facts.
They like to have it fed to them by the news and schools and just spit it back out instead of digesting it and coming to their own conclusions. That would take energy. And don't assume just because someone comes to different conclusions than you makes them ignorant. That is just is idiotic as choosing to remain...

Do you buy name brand foods or the "equate" versions that are made by the store?
It depends a lot on what the product is. Spaghetti noodles...doesn't make a difference. Chili, big difference. Mac and Cheese, the difference is negligible but the price is a lot better on generic so we go with that. In summary, it's a case by case basis.
Answer to:
I can’t help noticing how people spank their children with wooden spoons. Does it hurt to be spanked with one of them? I could never hit a child with a wooden spoon; I believe they are an implement to be used in the kitchen only.
My husband says yes...until it breaks. Then she has to buy a new one...and plastic ones don't break....
My parents never used one....I think my dad used a belt but I honestly don't remember the pain of the spanking as much as the getting in trouble and my parents making me hug them afterwards which I really hated at the time. :)

From what I understand from the Bible, Blaspheming the Holy Spirit: ie: continually denying Jesus your entire life. You have said you don't want to be with Him so He wont make you. Without Jesus, your sins aren't forgiven and you suffer the punishment for them in eternity. He didn't send the person there, they chose it for whatever reason (usually pride).

The tendencies are in your dna. Some people are more likely to succumb to addictions than others. Some people have more of a taste for things than others. Just because you are prone to it though doesn't mean you have to become an addict. You have more than your dna, you have free will.

Does the length of a relationship determine how well you know each other?
That depends a lot on the couple. There are things that are revealed with time, but if a couple never talks or spends time together then they aren't likely to learn these things in any amount of time given. There are some people that get to know each other very quickly and very well, but it depends a lot on how honest the people are being with each other and themselves. I always tell...

What do you think of this water saving method "if it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down"?
It has its place...it does save water and you can put things in so that it doesn't stain the bowl (plus your urine shouldn't be that acidic...you need to DRINK more water) It grosses my hubby out though, (which is probably the only thing beside dental work that grosses him out) so we flush. :)

What do you think about the labels society puts on every person ?do you like them or hate them?
I wouldn't say I like or dislike them. They are inevitable in any society and usually have some basis in fact. They are making assumptions about a group of people based on a commonly seen trail within that group. When you get to know people as individuals, labels no longer apply. Also, the more people that aren't what their groups label tends to be, the more that label will change....

That's kinda funny actually...but it is probably like many other of the laws around...like the ones stating that women driving must have a man 50 feet behind them and 50 feet in front waving flags to warn people. :) I doubt it is really enforced. And likely in those states the majority of the state would only vote for a religious leader anyhow so it would be a moot point anyways....

Ok, get ready for boos. If they cheated on their partner, fessed up and were trying to change it, that is one thing. They still have some integrity then. Mistakes can happen.
If they frequently cheat on their partners, lie about, try to cover it up, can't and then flaunt it or use it...they have lost all integrity in my book and that is something that isn't just in their...

Yes, she cheated. No, I wouldn't leave her. I would look at how you guys spend your social time though. Putting yourself in positions to be tempted is never healthy for a marriage. I would seek counseling and take a good look at your goals for your lives and marriage before proceeding to the divorce lawyer or to the clubs/bars.

All great answers here so far...except maybe living in your car. :) My 2 cents worth....
1) Ditch the cable tv.
2) Join or create a food co-op with friends.
3) Always scope out the nickel ads, paper and craigslist before buying something new.
4) Make things for people instead of buying gifts.
5) Have a child-care swap with other parents, take the kids to their house and have a date...

I'm a right-winger. I vote based on morals and history of the person running though. I've been known to vote for Democrats when they are closer to my beliefs/goals. Not sure what that makes me, independent maybe? What is a good allergy medicine other than Zyrtec or Claritin?
I used benedryl for occasional allergies. When I'm having to take them regularly though, Rhinocort and Dyconomine (not sure on the spellings) are what finally worked for me. Ones is a nose spray, the other is a pill. I was rated pretty high on the grass and weed allergies, so we had to try many things before finding something that worked. :)

It's hard to cook for them, and a lot of times they make you feel like you are offending them by eating meat. I've actually had one gag at barbecues when we were eating our hamburgers. Or you get those preaching about how horrible meat is and they should all switch. I don't eat pork, I don't make it a big deal. I eat whatever doesn't have pork. If someone asks, I...

Do you think that home-schooling results in children being overly sheltered and less prepared for the real world?
It depends alot on what the parents idea of homeschooling is. For the most part, no, I don't. Homeschooling is teaching your children at home in a one on on environment. Part of that teaching is also taking them to play with kids of the same age and different ages and also exposing them to many situations they will encounter their entire lives. They do everything mom does. The older...

Depends on if the dog is really cold or not. Most of the time though, it seems like people are trying to pretend their pets are their kids, and that is just sad. Does watching lot of porn stuff reduce your sex drive as u get used to seeing it and it becomes very trivial yo u day by day?
It wouldn't decrease your sex drive, but it would cause what you are desiring to change into things that are unrealistic and unattainable. (and many times very unhealthy) Sex would become a compulsion instead of an expression of love and intimacy. If it has already become this, and you find yourself addicted, I would seek help from a support group or counselor.

Get active in another group and make friends, yes, friends. And help others. That always will take your mind of your own problems, even when that problem is a person. Oh, and make sure you've accepted that that girl is gone as an option in your life. Hanging onto the what ifs make for a horribly long, if ever, recovery.

Today I was the victim of gender discrimination. How is it possible that people are still ignorant enough to believe that women are inferior? Is equality really that much to ask?
Discrimination goes all ways in every direction. It stinks when you're on the receiving end. The best way to change it though is through your own self conduct. When you get upset and huffy, they've won by upsetting you and it reinforces in their minds that their ideas are true. And many women think men are inferior so I don't think this is strictly a women discrimination...

It's just a weird woman quirk, like why do men obsess over their particular hobby? And yes, it is a round about way of asking for confirmation. A comment on fantasies, it is ok to fantasize about a situation, an ambigious person, but when you have a face and possibly even know or have seen the person, you've added a third party to your relationship. If your sex drive is directed at another person, your desires are also given to that person, and that experience is tied to that person in your heart. I personally like thinking of...

Lord, but I guess I'm just weird that way. I also wouldn't consider telling someone to go to hell as it means way more to me than to most and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

What "controversial" topics in AB have you found to be most dangerous to address? That'd be ones that you wish you had never seen.
I enjoy good debates but there are some that just frustrate me to no end. I'd have to say abortion is the one I need to leave alone. My personal views make it rather hard to sleep on at night. (which is when I usually have the time to check things out here)

Do you believe in Astrology and Horoscopes? To what degree, if you do?
I believe their may be some science to it, but not the ones you read in the magazine. Our universe, down to the last cell, was made with design and purpose. One thing may affect another. The wise men, if you believe the Christmas story, followed the star because it was a star of a new king. They obviously were watching the stars and reading them then. I don't partake though, as it was...

I was a lawyer. Am I right to quit my job to educate my kids?
That really depends. Homeschooling is more than just taking the kids out of school and slapping books in front of them. You really have to be committed to their education. You need to make sure they are learning everything and more than what they would be learning in public school (sans self help stuff). You also need to make sure they get into a support group, whether that be a local...
Answer to:
How should Home Education/tuition for a child out of school be structured?
Hard question, I would love to say that the state should make it available to the parent to buy curriculum and set up "field trips" and help some of the cost of having only one parent working. Reality though says that if the schools were threatened with having money taken away from them, they would start to attack homeschooling to keep their funds. The school district in which the...

What do you think about home schooling?
Speaking as one who was in the public school system and was homeschooled and is now homeschooling, I most certainly think it is a better option than public education today. I had a REALLY bad attitude toward my parents and myself (despite the huge amount of time they spend on self esteem projects) when I was in the education system. Halfway through the fifth, which my mom had been...

If love never fails, is it then redundant to claim that one's love is "unconditional"?
Depends on whether its real love or not. Too many people claim to love too many things for just the word love to mean anything. There are actually three words for love in ancient greek that seperate out which kind of love you are referring to. Eros = passion...can be fleeting, but probably the most consuming in the moment; philia = friendship...virtuous love; and agape =...

There's been some sexual tension between my husband's friend, who is a sex addict, and myself. I've recently developed an urge to be with him. How can I get over this without hurting my husband or my marriage?
Marriage needs to be about honesty. If you aren't honest to your husband about what is going on, you already have something between this guy and you. And if its your husbands "friend", he needs to know that relationship isn't right. The whole thing needs to stop right now, and you and your husband need to be accountable to eachother if you want to be in a committed...

What the radiation is coming off of doesn't matter. You have three types, beta, gamma and alpha. One is an escaping electron, one is escaping proton, one is an escaping neutron. Getting laid. ;) Ok, not really. Men love compliments. And women are getting more aggresive about flirting nowadays so I think men get hit on almost as often. So, the counterpart is about the same. I guess the downside would be the same also, getting targeted by someone you have no interest in.

Why is the "defense of marriage" argument focused on gay people wanting to get married? Far more married people get divorced than gay people want to get married. Wouldn't it be better to ban divorce rather than gay marriage, to "defend" the institution?
Well, the reasoning is that if we make an exception for gay marriage, then the bar on who can and cannot get married gets liften and soon polygomy can no longer be illegal and someone could marry their cat if they really wanted to, because they were in love. Most liberals I've met feel that marriage is an archaich, stuffy old religious institution that has no place in todays society....

It sounds like the relationship isn't a very mature one. In a right relationship, eachother feelings, needs and emotions come first. It take time to work up to having sex if you aren't using lubrication. And even if you are, your body may not be prepared for it until after the foreplay anyhow. And you also need to be sensitive to eachother during sex. The time of month changes...

Personally, unless you're threatening to harm someone physically(seriously), I don't feel either party has a right to sue over words. If a child is breastfed until the age of 5, is it likely to have psychological or sexual quirks as an adult?
I think it depends on the culture the mother/child were raised in also. Some cultures that is the norm. (Italy for instance) I agree with Auntie Em though, if there are no other forces in play it should have negative effects on the child.

Answer to:
My baby is 3 months old and he has suddenly stopped breastfeeding. Why is this happening?
He also may have an ear ache. Sucking can hurt when they have earaches and so they may stop. If it wasn't for very long, just a day, you may have eaten something he REALLY didn't like. And tjatherton is correct also. Whatever the cause, I would take him to see your pediatrician. At least then you can know for sure (well, at least more certainly) what is going on.
Answer to:
How often do you breastfeed a seven month old baby?
They may only need to be fed three times daily, but I tend to nurse on demand still as long as its not too ridiculous. Sometimes they just need comfort and want to cuddle. Or you may have a snacker. There is so much going on for them at this age that most babies wont take it to extremes. And milk (breast or formula) is still their main source of nutrition at this stage.

It really depends. Cause and effect is a great method when it can be used. But sometimes the danger is too great for a child to be allowed to experience. It can be days or it can be minutes. My second child was MUCH quicker than my first. Had I not already been in the hospital with them trying to enduce me, I probably would have had my little girl at home. I went from mild contractions to there she is in an hour. My best friend just lost her son to a cord wrapped around his neck inutero. Is there anything I can do or say to help her through this time?
I think being a shoulder to cry on as she grieves would be best. And help with the day to day tasks as she will probably still be recovering physically and the company may be nice also.

Why would you want to push away the people you love the most?
Because you are doing something to hurt yourself and you don't want to hurt them or to have them try to change what you're doing.
Or you're hurting and its one of those self loathing things....why do people do this? I really don't know, but we do. Kinda like pushing a bruise to see if it still hurts. Allowing people to get close would mean getting over the pain.

Thanx Elitheeli,
Well the thing is that the system is password protected from BIOS. When I switch on the system it ask me for the password at the very begining. Usually you can remove password by removing cell on board but Dell has'nt.
If you can't jumper the board to reset it, it should have a disk for the bios. You should be able to go onto Dell and search for your computer by the numbers/letters on the back for specifics. Good luck!

Where can I find good shopping deals on the Internet?
epinions.com and buy.com to compare prices, stores and services. Also, you can get an additional percentage off by joining inboxdollars and shopping through their portal. (in theory)
An ad, surplus.net, is where alot of e-bayers get their items to sell. Not sure if you'd be interested in more bulk items, but I can usually find great links to sites/vendors from there.

All throughout history Homosexuality has been accepted and then not accepted, even the Roman Catholic Church practiced Gay Marriage in circa 4th Century AD. Why then have we done a complete turn around?
I can't find anything that supports that the Roman Catholic church practiced gay marriages in the 4th century. Do you have some proof of this? And marriage is a religious/christian institution. Why would homosexuals want to partake? They can be covered with the same rights as domestic partners.

We write "stay the way you are & you will go far in life" in our sr. yearbooks. Has anyone ever gone far in life by staying the way they were in h.s.?
Only if you were incredibly popular and well rounded in high-school and keep the same group of friends as friends and co-workers throughout your life. Otherwise, probably not. Most highschoolers are quite immature and have no real place in adult society. (though many do stay the same and the world is a worse place for it)

I have done this a couple of times using a good quality epoxy spray paint. It will still scratch if you use something hard, but in general was very durable. I did this on tile sink backsplashes

I don't know why you'd want to, but fenugreek and fennel, possibly hormones but I wouldn't recommend it, along with stimulation (breast pump) several times a day should eventually get you going. If you search for nursing your adopted baby on google it should give you more ideas.

If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't attempt it. It's fairly simple, but you realize how important brakes are. If you insist, I recommend going to the parts house and getting a Hanes manual.

Because i've never seen it stated in the bible, were adam and eve truly married. And if they weren't why are christians against pre-marital sex?
God made them for eachother. It was a union created and overseen by God Himself rather than the appointed law which didn't exist at the time. Many laws and structures were set up later. God didn't state in the garden that they weren't to kill, steal, etc. because at that time man was without sin. He wouldn't have thought of touching someone God didn't give to...

If abortion is so wrong, why didn't Jesus mention it or preach against it? It was widespread in the Roman Empire at the time.
There are many things that we can put together to conclude reasonably that Jesus(God) was against abortion. First, many scriptural refer to being a person pre-birth. Take James 1:5 for example, "Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations." Or David speaking, "For you...

If Jesus is the same as God; how do you explain 1 Cor.15:24 and 28: "Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, … then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him (the Father)"?
The way I think of it is this: We were created in God's image. God is three separate being in one, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We have a mind, body, and soul. They are three distinc things that when working properly are in unison. But, they can be away from eachother (when you die for instance), and they can be subject to one another. How many times do you do something...

I believe it is because we are inherintly selfish creatures and typically when we have to ponder a decision, it is because it conflicts with our own self interest.
