How to get a splinter out Ouch. Get some (clean) tweezers and try to tweezer the splinter out first. If that doesn't work, try squeezing either side of the splinter with your fingernails. If that doesn't work, have a hot bath with lots of steam and wait, the splinter will work itself out.

And an egg that has never been refrigerated will last for several weeks. Is this true? Yes its true... not sure about a couple of hours but they do last longer when they've never been refrigerated. I have hens and i keep their eggs in a wire basket container in the kitchen, they do last for ages or at least til anyone wants to eat them.

Sticking one or two in molehills as they appear, or just sticking them in the ground near the molehills, drives the moles away because they don't like the vibrations caused by the spinning windmills.
