I suggest that you make a clean break. Do not play head games. Just go on with your life and let your life go on without her. What comes around goes around as the expression says. If you mess with her head, you may be the one getting hurt later. Good luck with your life.

Why does someone who's been drinking see him/herself as witty and charming when everyone else just sees a drunk?
Because he is intoxicated and he does not really see how he or she is behaving. Alcohol does strange things to the brain. Some act silly, stupid, mean, violent, etc... It is all depended on the persons personality to begin with prior to their drinking. The deep subconscious is affected and whatever is deeply rooted in the mind comes out when under the influence of alcohol.

I would say that it would not be completely helpful. Drinking the required amount of water is far more effective. If you don't drink prior, during and after flying, you can get dehydrated. Never stop drinking the normal amount of water at any given reason. Also, move about on the plane to avoid possible blood clots that could occur in your legs if you are not mobile.

Whether you are rich, or not, people use drugs and there are many reasons why they do. A lot has a lot to due with wanting to fit in or they have problems fitting in with others. I don't see a reason to keep putting an old cpu back in operation when you know that it will break down again. Clean the hard drive and by a new cpu. I don't feel the cpu will last very long. Depending on how bad, 2 wks.

When a new medication is prescribed for you, do you read the side effects first? Would you ever refuse to take a medicine because of the side effects?
I would always read the side effects of a new medication that is prescribed to me and no, I would not refuse to take them. The only time I may not want to take them is if the side effects were adverse and severe side effects, and not if they were temporary side effects. Be sure to know the difference.

That is a tough question to answer. However, it sounds like this is a case of a hate crime. The one who got shot had gender identification issues(Larry Kind, 15), trying to find his place in the world, trying to make out as to who he was and the one who shot him (14 yr old boy) was hateful of him or anyone like him due to ignorance of society, etc. I feel that he should get extensive...

Well camouflaged by its gray shell, a sand crab keeps its balance in the ever-moving sand with the help of a heavily armored, curved body and pointy legs. To stay put in the sand, a crab burrows quickly and often. While most crabs move in any direction—forward, backward and...

I agree with prime tap, give him the same treatment as he did to the animals. What right did he have to be so cruel.

Where do you feel our spirits and all we have learned in this life go after we pass on ? To a new level of life ? Please don't bash me
Some place far more peaceful. After my life/death experience, it was a warm, pleasant feeling of not a care in the world. I assume that we will be feeling far more greater then here on earth. From what I understand, earth is a temporary place. We have to make the best of everything while we are here. Loving life, living life and enjoying everything that we hear, see and touch.

You're at work, and it's mostly empty of people. You come around the corner and hear a few co-workers talking amongst themselves about explicit sexual scenarios. They stop when they see you (to not be rude). Would you report them, or leave them be?
I would leave them alone and go one. What business is it of me to report them. I don't find it appropriate of them to discuss such matters at work, no matter how many people may be around. I just know that it would not be wise to get in their business.

When someone presents themselves as someone they are not is it not inevitable that the truth will come out about what kind of person they really are?
Yes it would. I don't believe in wearing a mask of any kind to anyone. Either you are who you are or you're not. It's better to be yourself instead of trying to be someone else. Some people are afraid of rejection or unacceptance when they behave that way. They could also be ashamed of who they are. We all should love the person we are and just be ourselves. Some people...

Ok, I agree with Patti Jo, Saturday and Sunday are the weekend. However, Sundays is the beginning of the week and Saturday is the end of a week. There are 7 days in a week as we all know. It is just that Monday - Friday are the normal 5 days of a typical work week. I work from Saturday to Wednesday nights, so my weekends are Thursday and Friday. It is just the way the calender is created.

Years ago I tried to get an American Express card and I was denied because I did not meet the income requirements to get the card. You need to make a large amount of money per year to get that card. Don't worry about it if you get denied, for in some ways it's better not...

What are the difference DVD+RW and DVD-RW?
The primary advantage of DVD-RW over DVD-R is the ability to erase and rewrite to a DVD-RW disc. According to Pioneer, DVD-RW discs may be written to about 1,000 times before needing replacement, making them comparable with the CD-RW standard. DVD-RW discs are commonly used for volatile data, such as backups or collections of files. They are also increasingly used for home DVD video recorders....

I believe in taking time, one day at a time in a relationship. I have had too many relationships that went to fast and ended too fast and it hurt a lot, for you build too many expectations too quickly. Enjoy the time you have with one another, savior the moment, and if you are comfortable with your relationship, that is good. But, don't get too comfortable, especially if things...

There are many other solutions for her daughter so she would not get pregnant in the future. To cease her cycle is not one I would consider. If I were to ever see any man beating on his partner, I would gladly whoop the dog piss out of him. Would you do the same or look the other way?
I would defend the woman and beat the crap out of him. And, or, I would see help by calling the police, seeing that justice be served. No man or woman have a right to whip the crap out of their partner.

Well, I can agree with sl. I had known a guy that was so into building his body that I knew that that he was in love with himself. He could not go a day without wanting bigger muscles. I don't find that attractive in a man. I feel that it is important to stay in shape and be in shape, but not to be vain about one's appearance. I am glad that you are in great shape. It is not a...

What is the reason why LDS do not display a crucifix?
Because their beliefs aren't like other religions. They don't believe in the Holy Trinity, The father, the son, and the holy spirit. They (The Mormons) believe that Christ was married, had many wives and children. Joseph Smith is interesting. I am sure that anyone who follows the LDS beliefs can better answer this then me. I really don't want to be wrong. I just know they...

All of the above. When it comes a fire in the fireplace, I would love to cuddle up to with my man (if I had one). I love Chocolate, especially if it smores, Brandy to warm me up along with my man, or coffee to warm me up as well.

Do you consider your friends list to be about friendship, or more about managing information, e.g. Qs and As from people with whom you share common interests?
I consider my friends to be supportive of me in what I may say or do. To be there for me, as I would be there for them, such as if they are hurt, upset, etc.... Friends are there for each other no matter what. They aren't there for just getting answers from, etc... They are people who care and love you as who you are, and visa versa. Friends are not someone for whom you take for granted.

When on the phone with "Customer Service Representatives" or whomever answers the phone, and they have an attitude, do you ever just want to be rude back, or are you nice- hoping they won't be so difficult?
1) I would speak calmly hoping that they will settle down. 2) I would ask for their name and ask to speak to their supervisor. 3) Hang up the phone in hopes that another Customer Service Representative will answer the phone, someone who will be more cooperative and willing to help. It is so hard to not get upset when someone is being rude to begin with. Getting upset and being rude back is not...

Do you think that Convicted Sexual Predators, which is worse than a Sexual Offender, should be made to have a sign by the local law enforcement agencies put on thier front side of thier home, or lawn, facing the street to warn the public of this person?
Personally, I feel that if you cause a crime of any sexual abuse, no matter what degree, that the person should spend life in prison.
Answer to:
I would like to see death penalty appeals done away with after all DNA testing has been done. I do not think we should have Death Row inmates on the Row for 10 plus years. Would you think instant justice would be a better way to go?
Wihtout DNA testing, we would never know who raped, murdered or robbed, etc... a person, place or thing. DNA is quite important in solving crimes. As far as the death penalty goes, they should just all be short or hung after being convicted instead of having us tax payers having to pay for their stay in death row.

Just this past Friday, in my hometown of Hemet, CA, a young man, raped a 64 yr old woman in her apartment. It disgusts me too. I am sorry to hear that happening in your home town of Jacksonville, FL. Stop having sex with him. If he still wants to see you after that, then his feelings are not solely based on sex. If he stops seeing you after cutting him off, then you will know that he only wanted sex from you and nothing more. Or, you could just ask him and let him know that you want to take things slow and easy. If he stops seeing you after that, then his feelings for you aren't for...

I don't like the way things are with people who make a whole lot of money. My ex wife cheated on me yet I am the one who felt guilty for losing all trust in anything she said or did when she was trying so hard to prove herself to me was I crazy for feeling like that
You have nothing to feel guilty about, since you are the one who did not do the cheating. Trust is something that is hard to have after one hurts someone like that. Don't feel that way, tell yourself that you have nothing to feel guilty about. You are the one who got hurt. It is only natural to lose trust in someone who cheats, etc.

Answer to:
Is it best to admit to cheating or keep quiet? Especially if you know your partner will break up with you when they find out.
It is best to be honest about cheating. Being honest about your wrongs shows courage. Being dishonest is another way of showing the person you love that you cheated on them is being a coward. Cheating is a sickness. It is always best to tell the truth instead of someone else telling your partner, for he / she will get far more upset coming from someone else and not you.

It depends on what happened before your break up. If the person for whom you were with hurt you emotionally, the chances he / she will continue to hurt you again and worse. Would you rather date someone who is lacing in looks but who treats you like a king/queen or would you rather date someone who is super hot looking but treats you like dirt please be honest I won't judge you if you're honest
I would go with lacking in looks. I had just broke up from a guy who had looks, but treated me like dirt. It surely is no fun and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. Looks aren't what make a person, it is what is inside that counts. I hope that the next person I meet treats me right.

Why would anyone get married and not just be in a relationship?
Some people marry just to be married for money, social standings, security, they don't want to be alone anymore, etc.... Some also marry and aren't in love with the person (which makes the marriage null & void for marriage is a sacrament and union of two people becoming one, with love, commitment and fidelity) and some marry for they want a mother/father figure to take care of them.

Sure it is very possible. Counseling is something that one should have to help them to overcome their problems and to help them learn how to handle them on their own. A counselor is not someone who should solve your problems for you. Some people don't learn from that and depend too much on other's for help instead of "self-help" on their own.

I would go up to the parent, but when they are the one's not doing something about their child's behavior, well, I don't, for they are not stopping it themselves. I am very disappointed in them.

I've heard on the news that they're considering dropping the legal drinking age to 18. What's your opinion on this?
I haven't heard that yet. It is a bad idea. It's bad enough that children younger the age 18 are drinking their parents liquar, having others buy it for them, etc. I feel that dropping the drinking age from 21 to 18 is a very poor idea.

Do you think that we really "have to" do anything?
Yes, I think we should. There is always someone out there who may need help. Besides, it feels good to help those who are suffering, someone who needs a lending ear, etc.... Life is precious, don't waste it.

When you were a little kid, did you or your siblings or friends (or YOUR little kids, if you have any) ever swallow anything alarming (rubber bands, toys, bugs, whatever), or get anything stuck in your nose or ears?
Yes, my sister swallowed a penny. She said that it landed down to her foot (which I know that it did not happen). For me, I don't recall if I did.

I do, great source of Iron. I know it has an odd taste, but it is great for you. I love spinach raw on salads. Cooked spinach is what most people hate. Not me.

Men: Is there ever a justifiable reason to strike a woman?
Earlier I answered no and I still mean it. However, if one has to defend them self from an attacker then I see a need to strike. Otherwise, violence gets no where !
