Not quite certain what clarity you seek, but I will offer a thought.

Communication is effected through sensory input (sight, sound, touch, ...) and filtered by our perspective. People have sensory preferences, which in some cases can be quite dominant. Not addressing their sensory preference can significantly reduce transmission of the communication. Similarly, interference in one or more of the sensory bands can also confound effective communication. By eliminating these barriers, we can improve our communication.

There is a wealth of studies that have examined this topic, so I will just share a couple hints that you should find intuitive. If a message targets more than one sensory input, it has a better chance of being received. If competitive input is reduced or eliminated, than your input will received more attention. If the content is presented in a manner to which the audience can relate, then it will pass unobstructed through the perspective filter. I think you can see the pattern here.

I hope you found this helpful.
