How can I get stains from my blue jeans off of my new white shoes?

Is is leather or suede? Because if it's suede I can offer no help...

But if it is leather (the smooth kind--don't know the actual word for it, sorry) this is what I do (compiled from personal experiences lol):

You can actually go to shoe stores (Footlocker has it) and buy a foam cleaner. They actually do have ones for suede, too, I believe. It works really well for me. Use a towel instead of the scrubber on the top they provide, though.

When I don't have this kind of cleaner, I use (I know it's going to sound odd) "all purpose" carpet spot remover, the kind that removes "most stains on many kinds of carpets" or whatever it is they say. It's best the you test it on a part of your shoe that isn't easily seen (like the inside of it, where the leather is sown to the interior of the shoe). I've never had a problem with it messing my shoe up, by I do it every time, just in case.

If you are desperate (lol coundn't think of a better word, but I have been before... so yeah)and don't feel like running out everywhere to get cleaners, get a cloth bag and throw your shoes in it (only if they are like sneakers--such as Nikes or something) and pour a little bit of detergent, and if you have it, oxyclean. After washing it, most of the stain will come out. Sometimes all of it will, depending on how ark your jeans were.
