There are a couple of Spanish quotations that oppose each other. One says "In the distance, love grows deeper", the other one says "In the distance, love dies".
Which one do you think is more true?

    Neither, they oppose themselves in the same way that the English sayings, "Too many cooks spoil the broth" and "Many hands make light work" do. Depending on circumstances either could be true.
