Any boy worth having doesn't want a girl who pretends to be dumb. That doesn't mean you have to be a nerd but at least have enough respect for yourself to BE yourself and show your intelligence. Why on earth would you want someone you have to dumb yourself down for? Is that really the kind of guy you want? One you can't be yourself around? Because sooner or later you're going to have to reveal who you are. Stop playing ridiculous games and start thinking about what's best for you. Self respect has a way of opening up all kinds of possibilities.
And btw, I may be old but I have a 14 year old niece. Top of her class. Involved in all kinds of activities. And the boys swarm around her like bees. Because she has self confidence and doesn't pretend to be someone she's not. She believes in herself. And she's certainly not dumb.
