Help answer this question below.

My bf and I got in a fight and he broke up with me. We're together again because we still love each other but he isn't sure it's going to work. What do guys want in a relationship and a gf?

    Men (and women) are not all the same, their feelings and behavior hardly specific to gender. You will likely get as many differing opinions as answers and the real question is what does YOUR boyfriend want?

    The single most likely reason for a breakup or divorce is the failure of the relationship to meet expectations. It can start with money or sex, children or friends, how to spend time or resources, but in the end it often comes down to disenchantment. We expect it to feel and look like "x" and all seems to more realistically be "y".

    An excellent discussion to have is "What would the ideal relationship look like to YOU (to him/her)"? There are no right answers, but the closer your expectations mesh, the more likely you are to find common ground and be satisfied with one another. Still, the only way to know is to ask.

    And that includes a million possible questions... "What would your ideal sex life look like?" "What do you see as the perfect day spent with me?" What is your philosophy on the roles of men vs women in a relationship?" etc. Substitute those questions that apply to your specific issues and you have the beginnings of solutions.

    And finally, i'm afraid love is not everything. We can love a lot of people and i myself find that the easiest part of a relationship. It's making it work and being committed and content being where the more difficult work lies.

    i hope you will ask your bf. i think his answers will be more to the point than ours.
