Do you think prohibition (alcohol) should be reinstated?

    I do not believe that prohibition should be reinstated. The prohibition led to organized crime. (Example: Al Capone) Also when American citizens would make moonshine there were often death resulting from the moonshine not being produced properly.

    • Can't that same argument be used in favor of eliminating all laws? We made larceny a crime, and we have organized crime that does nothing but steal. Gambling is illegal in some jurisdictions, yet organized crime rings set up illegal gambling halls all over the place. The same logic can be applied to everything from prostitution to murder.
