Close. The galaxy itself isn't a black hole, but rather it contains a super massive black hole at the center. And scientists say that there are many smaller black holes scattered throughout the rest of the galaxy.

There may even be micro holes... black holes with event horizons smaller than an atom, though they supposedly evaporate shortly after being created.

And if that is indeed the case, they're being created and undone quite frequently in our atmosphere, thanks to cosmic rays.
