Why would a dog vomit&have diarrhea?

The most common reason I've seen a dog vomit and have diarrhea, would be the Parvo virus. It is neccesary to get your animal to the animal hospital immediately as the sooner you do, the better it's chances are of surviving. Dehydration is what happens when your animal is vomitting and has diarrhea, so it is a critical condition.
