Why are boys so mean to the girls they like?

    I don't think boys really mean to be.
    I think what happens is as they get to know the girl, because they like her and want her to be "special", they also notice "faults" which they hope to perfect.
    Being as young and daft as we are, we often don't know how to go about handling this.
    I have learnt, after many many years, that as you treat her nice, she will gradually learn what you value, and will eventually make changes because she also loves you.

    • OMG! I know a few boys r real mean to me, like calling me ugly && making fun of me! I hate it since I kno I'm not all tht bad looking! Like idk wat to do they always throw in unnecessary jokes and laugh with their frends && still talk to me idk it might be my personality? Like I'm loud && center of attention...do guys lik tht? I'm so confused I hate boys
