How can I make my high school experience one that is less reminiscent of hell?

    Perhaps you could ask your parents if you could be home schooled. If they say they have no time to supervise you (like if they both work), you could promise to be responsible enough to do it on your own. But you will really have to show them that you can do it.

    Also if you are being bullied or picked on you should see the guidance councellor or the principal. It's their job to take care of stuff like that.
