Why do some people have no friends even though they are nice?

I feel that the older you are the harder it is to make real friends. If you just don't get out enough or socialize with the people you do see on a daily basis,
its basically impossible to make friends.

- Just make friends with your husband and children.

I have no social life. Im 16 almost 17 and i stay 94% of the time at home unless its school i feel like i have no friends and never go out or do anything with people and also i seem to not be able to get a gf even though im not bad looking. what can i do?
