Does Caller ID identify callers using cell phones?

    I'm from Australia so I don't know if our phones operate in the same manner. Here in Australia, out caller ID does identify users using cell phones unless the caller has set their cell phone on "private" or "no number sending". This means that when they call, "private number" will appear on your screen. This is the same for landline telephones. You can change your number to private by going into your cell phone's settings and turning the "number sending" function off. I hope this helps.
