Great state, especially Nashville. Actually the eastern 2/3 of the state is great. The eastern 1/3 is like living way way down in the South. The rest of the state is not like that as long as you stick with Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga. Nashville is very cosmopolitan, lots of people and businesses moving in from all over the country. Forbes magazine has rated Nashville the last two years as the 7th and the 8th best places in the country to do business.
I'll be vacationing to the Gatlinburg, TN area this fall. What must I see or where must I eat before heading home? (The less tour-isty the suggestion, the better.)
