Medicare ADMIN costs are 3%. Senator Baucus wants to allow private health insurance giants to have ADMIN costs of 35%. Wouldn't you like to SAVE $300 billion a year and allow a public option OR a non-profit option, by folks like ACLU, AARP, or NRA?

I would actually prefer a single-payer system modeled after the NHS in the UK (which I've had nothing but good experiences with), but yes, I would prefer a public option over the Baucus bill. Aetna and the like also need to be regulated far more than they are now if the American people are to keep doing business with them.

    • yea, by allowing the insurance companies what they want, to have interstate competition, they'd be subjugating themselves to the Sherman Anti-trust Act. It would be nice if our government protected us and enforced anti-trust regulations against them. Thanks!!!
