    The sartorious which originates on the ASIS (anterorir superior illiac spine) and inserts on the tibial tuberosity

    • i hate to nit pick, but isn't that what this site is for... the sartorius actually inserts on the superior medial aspect of the tibia or the pes anserine, the quadriceps is the only muscle to insert on the tibial tuberosity...

    • *looks at the muscle chapter of Tortoa* So it does! thank you for the correction! I have never heard of the pes anserine. Is it a bony landmark? Tortora never mentions it.
