We're headed for a world where we pretty much can't defend ourselves, but rather leave such things to the AUTHORITIES, who will be watching us day and night using their new technologies. Even if it means that our chances of dying increase, only TRAINED AUTHORITIES are going to be allowed to do something like kill a madman, even if it means that 30 other people around you have to die before they show up. You see, you're UNTRAINED, so you're NOT QUALIFIED to defend your own life. Welcome to America.

    • I think you would face charges, but given the fore knowledge of a killer facing me down with a gun or knife and I had a gun too... I would hate to shot another human, but I do believe I would shoot first , and face whatever comes in charges later. I know this sounds like what is the difference in you and the killer? right? the difference would be that you simply traded places with the killer and now your the killer. So face charges? yeah that's what would happen here in USA.
